Ebay Motors Marketing Package - my-classic-car-trader.com

Ebay Motors Marketing Package

My-Classic-Car-Trader.com specializes in assisting Classic and Collector car owners with marketing and selling of their vintage car to achieve the best sale price possible. Sometimes selling a classic or muscle cars can be a frustrating experience. Classified ads in publications like Hemmings and Auto Trader do not provide the same results as a professional auction and are usually expensive. In addition, the large Auction Company’s charge high consignment fees and many times are not user-friendly for the average Classic Car owner.

The good news........it doesn’t have to be that way anymore! By combining the power of the Internet with a successful Ebay on-line auction format, My-Classic-Car-Trader.com can maximizes your ability to attract potential buyers for your Classic Muscle Car. You may have heard the old expression “That Classic Cars are not Bought There Sold”. By using this simple philosophy along with two other important factors, My-Classic-Car-Trader.com has achieved success using the Ebay Motors on-line auction format for Classic Car owners. The other two reasons for our success are simple, by auctioning your car, you let buyers know that they have competition and competition generates higher sale prices for your car. The second reason is providing the buyer with as much information about your classic car with a professionally developed marketing package. Most of our auctions bring in higher sale prices for your car than a classified ad, simply due the fact that you let the bidders determine your car’s value.

Since the auction format is the best way to sell your car, it is critical for the listing to be professional. The difference between a poorly done auction and professional auction determines whether your car sells and for how much. Most auction listings on sites like Ebay Motors are not done well. As a result, sellers have been disappointed with their outcome and buyers have been upset with what they thought they were buying. The trick is to present your vehicle in a professional format so that buyers, from thousands of miles away, can make qualified assessment. This is important so that you receive the best possible sale price for your car and that your buyer is satisfied with their purchase.

My-Classic-Car-Trader.com has partnered with EBay and one of the largest Auction software programs to allow us to ensure that your potential bidders are pre-qualified to meet the criteria to purchase a classic car. In addition, our software allows us to contact bidders during and after auctions to promote and communicate with potential buyers. Our photo gallery software provides details to potential buyers, which allows for comfortable bidding and increased competition.

At My-Classic-Car-Trader.com we are also classic car enthusiasts. We know how dramatic selling and buying a classic car really is, to both buyer and seller. We also understand that not ever classic car or owner is the same, so instead of just offering one Marketing package, we will tailor a package to your car and to the owner. Unlike other company’s’ that may offer similar services and limit their Auctions to only to rare or high priced Classic Cars we understand that there are many owners that have cars which deserve the same advantages of a on-line auction. Our Ebay Motors Marketing packages include everything from parts-cars to high priced convertibles. Our business model at My-Classic-Car-Trader.com is dedicated to bringing you the best possible service and care imaginable for you and your Classic Car.

1) Print and completely fill out the Reserve Price and Selling Agreement, Customer & Vehicle Listing Form, Vehicle Specification & Description Sheet, with as much detail as possible. Please use our Checklist form to ensure that you have included all of the required information. The seller must represent the car honestly and point out both the good points and weaknesses of the vehicle. We will help you with this process, to present flaws in the best way possible as part of the sale. View on of our Sample Auction to see what type of information we can compile for you.

2) Submit 20-40 good photos of the entire car. View our Sample Auction page for examples and details of what constitutes a "good" photo. Also see or Checklist for additional information.

3) Mail us a copy of your vehicle's title (front and back). This is to ensure the vehicle belongs to you and is lien free.

4)* List the lowest dollar amount you will accept for your vehicle. This is called "Your Reserve Price" and will be the basis of the auction amount. We will then add the 0% commission to determine the "Auction's Reserve Price." ( * see special note below)

We will then begin the listing process on EBay Motors to sell your car. If your reserve price is met or exceeded, or after an offer is made outside of the EBay auction and accepted by the seller, we will then take a 5% deposit direct from the buyer which is the earnest money and contractual agreement to purchase the car from the seller. This deposit is due within 48 hours of the auction's end. Next we will place the buyer in contact with the seller to arrange inspection, final payment and pick-up of the vehicle. The buyer's deposit is non-refundable and will remain the fee of My Classic-Car-Trader.com for the sale of the car. The buyer will then be instructed to pay the 95% balance in cash, cashiers or certified check, or wire transfer direct to the seller. As with all auctions, it is the buyer's responsibility to incur any shipping charges, although we will help put them in contact with motor carriers and transport companies to arrange the shipment if they need assistance.

If the reserve is not met by the end of the auction, we will contact the highest bidder and try to negotiate with other bidders until we can get a buyer's offer that the seller is willing to accept. At that time we will take a 5% deposit from the buyer as our fee and the contract to purchase the vehicle. The buyer usually has 7 days from the end of the auction to complete this transaction, including any inspection, money transfer and setting up the transportation or pick-up of the vehicle.

* Special Note, My-Classic-Car-Trader.com reserves the right to negotiate, change or alter the terms of the auction with the seller pursuant to the final evaluation of the vehicles Make, Model, Year and condition. Additional information can be obtained by calling 856-627-1514
